Nov. 9 on the ice at JLA

Visions Spa Salon is proud to support the 12th Annual Toast of Hockeytown. Through the Toast of Hockeytown, player appearances and other team-sponsored events, the Red Wings help raise over one million dollars annually for various organizations in our community. Proceeds from the event goes toward the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities.

The Detroit Red Wings will open the holiday season with a special pre-Thanksgiving edition of the Toast of Hockeytown presented by Oakwood Healthcare. When Quinn was born, he was diagnosed with an extremely rare digestive disorder known as MMIHS. (MegacystisMicrocolonIntestinal HypoperstalsisSyndrome)

Unfortunately, there is no known cause or cure for MMIHS.

Since 1970 there has been about 186 cases reported around the world. The family has been in contact with 6 families around the world with the same disorder.

Quinn has had medical intervention that includes a Abroviac(central line), a G-tube, a D-tube and a Vesicostomy. He is on a regimanof TPN through his Corratedartery and Enteralfeeds via his D-tube.

Due to this being such a rare disorder and Quinn's extensive care, the family has had to make major changes including going down to 1 income. Along with this they have incurred financial costs with medical bills and supplies and will continue to do so.We would like to help ease this. Hope you can come and support Quinn and family! We are blessed everyday that he is here
